For over two decades, Lloyd has initiated new directions in product development and social change, beginning with the world's first personal data assistant (PDA), The Calling Card, in 1987 to the launch in 2010 of educational programs in the diverse areas of organic sustainable agriculture and safety in medical devices. He was also one of the first Americans to pioneer people-to-people diplomacy programs in response to Mikhail Gorbachev's call for an end to the Cold War.
